RAINDROP is a smoothly blended doe excelling in general appearance. A late-born kid in July, she was reserve junior champion at the Central Washington State Fair and first junior yearling at the Spokane ADGA National Show the following summer.
She freshened with a shapely mammary and shows excellent dairy style. Shown at her advantage in the spring shows, she was undefeated as a milking yearling. At her disadvantage at the summer fairs, she was still Reserve Champion at the Thurston County Fair from the two year-old class. Her promising appraisal included excellent scores in back and rump. My photos aren't overly flattering to her, but this is the doe other judges, who are Alpine breeders, take particular notice of. I'm hoping for more milk production and the resulting excitement at the shows next season.
